Our Foundational Values

Many of the core values of Christianity are reflected in the First Christ Ministerial practice, and is again reinterpreted based on the individual’s studies and guidance from God. A brief outline of core values is provided below via scripture.

Generosity

“The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.” – Proverbs 22:9

Courage

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9

Love

“We love because he first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19

Respect

“Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.” – 1 Peter 2:17

Hope

“There is surely a future hope for you, and your hope will not be cut off.” – Proverbs 23:18

Peace

“Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.” – Romans 14:19

Self-Sufficiency

“Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God” - 2 Corinthians 3:5
